The BEST Squat Warm Up (with video)
As with most exercises, if you want to get better mobility, stability, strength, and coordination for that exercise, the best way to do it is by choosing a routine and training style that mimics the goal movement.
For a squat or similar movement, the main factors you want primed and ready before you start working hard are:
✅Hip mobility
✅Ankle mobility
✅Knee stability
✅Foot stability
✅Coordination
This warm up regime only takes a couple of minutes but hits all of these components. Implementing it before leg-based activity and as part of lower body rehab/prehab will go a long way to both avoiding pain and injury, and improving your performance.
